The Goodway machines which we sell ; have the Load Monitor feature that indicates difficulty and the Tool Life features available as an option in the Fanuc control system, but it is standard on our Goodway machines. We collaborated with Renishaw to provide solutions. With Renishaw, we implemented macro program work. We have made this application to work in sync with Load Monitor, Tool Life, machine Plc and robot. For example, when a strain alarm is sounded, the system continues to process the part, but saves the forced tool in its memory. It waits for the end of the piece and then this information is transferred to the robot.
The machine calls the memory set, the robot takes the material and waits for the machine to complete the measurement process. In practice here, if the amount of blunting is within the tolerance we give, the new team he measures throws that set. If it is not in tolerance, it automatically activates the spare set in the machine turret instead of the blunted team.
In addition to this, it also performs fracture detection of tool tips. It also checks the team life cycle, informs the robot that it is out of Life, shows the robot in the hold position and on the screen as a warning that the team ends need to be changed. This way, if the system is running 8 hours before this work is done, it can now run continuously for 16 hours. At the same time, the quality control process can take place during production.
